  • Waxing
  • Plucking
  • Shaving
  • Electrolysis
  • Chemical depilatories

This treatment is ideal for virtually any area that has persistent hair growth.

Before and After – Laser Hair Removal Results

Before LightSheer DUET laser hair removal treatments, patients struggle to continuously remove unwanted hair from given areas. They often experience razor burn and use messy removal methods that can cause mild damage.

Patients typically notice reduced hair growth soon after laser hair removal treatments.

Faster, Better, and More Comfortable Results with the LightSheer Duet

The LightSheer DUET makes laser hair removal quick and comfortable. Treatments can be completed in less than 20 minutes and no topical anaesthetics are required.

How Does It Work?

During a treatment, the LightSheer DUET’s laser will emit beams of concentrated light that can be rapidly absorbed by the pigment found in hair follicles. The laser only pulses for fractions of a second at once, enough time for the hair to absorb the light and heat up. This damages the hair’s shaft and bulb, impeding its ability to regrow, while leaving the surrounding skin unharmed.

The LightSheer DUET can be equipped with one of two hand-pieces depending on a person’s needs:

  • The LightSheer High Speed hand-piece combines vacuum-assist technology with diode laser light to treat large areas rapidly and with minimal discomfort.
  • The LightSheer ET™ handpiece with ChillTip® cooling is specially designed for use in smaller and more sensitive areas.

With innovative and versatile technologies like these, our skin health specialists can effectively customize LightSheer DUET treatments according to an individual’s hair type, skin, and lifestyle to ensure the best results.

Will I Need Multiple Laser Hair Removal Treatments?

Laser hair removal works best when hair is in anagen, its early growth phase. Because not all hairs are in this stage at the same time, patients will require multiple laser hair removal treatments. Based on your unique needs and hair profile, our skin health specialists will offer guidance on the number of laser hair removal treatments you will need and how far apart they should be scheduled.
