The Treatment Process

Following an assessment consultation with Dr. Sleightholm, the lipoma removal procedure will be scheduled.

Local anesthesia will be administered and, while the patient may feel some pressure or pushing, they should not feel any pain.
Once the area is numbed, the doctor will make an incision to remove the tissue.

Post-procedure, there may be some slight tenderness where the lipoma removal occurred, but this will reside within 1-5 days. There is no need to take time off work.
