Latisse
Latisse is a medication approved to treat patients with insufficient or thin eyelashes. When applied daily on the lash line of the upper eyelid, Latisse stimulates the growth of thicker, longer, darker lashes.
Most patients start to see results within two to four months of beginning treatment. To maintain them, patients should continue to regularly apply the medication on an ongoing basis.
Side effects are extremely rare but can include:
- Red, itchy, dry eyes
- Darkened eyelids
- Brown pigmentation around the iris
- Hair growth around eyes if medication drips often
