Inspection Results from The College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario
The College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO) requires clinics that perform out-of-hospital procedures involving anaesthesia, including cosmetic and plastic surgery, to adhere to strict standards.
Following the “Out-of-Hospital Premises Inspection Program”, CPSO inspects clinics to grant a pass or fail based on the quality of care the clinic provides. This program is designed to provide regulatory oversight to ensure clinics conducting surgical procedures are safe and reliable. It also confirms the medical professionals in question are competent and have the correct qualifications.
Inspection results are available on the College website for all out-of-hospital clinical premises where procedures are performed under any form of anaesthesia. Click here to access the list.
