What Conditions Can Photorejuvenation/Forever Young BBL Treat?

Photorejuvenation/Forever Young BBL is a non-invasive procedure used to address skin conditions associated with aging, sun damage, and active outdoor lifestyles including:

  • Wrinkles
  • Age and sunspots
  • Small facial veins
  • Birthmarks
  • Hyperpigmentation
  • Several other forms of skin blemishes

Your treatment will be tailored to match your unique skin condition and desired results. The most popular treatment areas include the face, neck, chest, shoulders, and back of hands.

How Is Photorejuvenation / Forever Young BBL Done?

Photorejuvenation/Forever Young BBL uses broadband light (BBL) technology to deliver gentle light energy to the skin and gradually heat it. As targeted areas absorb the heat, that stimulates the skin cells to generate new collagen. The energy can also reduce fine vessels that cause redness and unwanted brown spots.
This process restores skin to its natural beauty, blending its colours to become smooth, vibrant, and younger looking.
Photorejuvenation/Forever Young BBL is based on a series of treatments, which do not require topical anesthesia. Typically, patients undergo two to five rounds of Photorejuvenation. They are performed in intervals of four to six weeks with maintenance every season. This frequency should produce desired results. However, some patients benefit from additional treatments depending on condition severity.

What Can I Expect after My Treatment?

Since Photorejuvenation/Forever Young BBL is a gentle and non-invasive procedure, patients typically experience very little downtime. You can expect some post-procedure redness, swelling, dark spots may become slightly darker and then flake away. This is all a typical reaction depending on the intensity of the procedure and nature of the existing damage. Most people can return to work and resume normal activities after their treatment sessions.
Keep in mind that you will be sensitive to ultra-violent light and must avoid sun exposure until fully healed. In addition to using sunscreen, you will receive skincare products as well as instructions on how to use them.
